The ChroMo1 process means a newly developed hard-chrome layer with a 1% molybdenum component through the use of a specially prepared electrolyte. Advantages: higher thermal hardness (over 400°C), considerably greater resistance to acidic media containing chlorine, limitation of chrome corrosion and high ductility.
